15.  An embarrassing story about you: ha I always wanted my first kisses to be special, 

so every time a guy would lean in for a kiss I would be so nervous I would say some awkward comment 

and ruin the moment. I head-butted my husband when he leaned in for the first kiss. 

Needless to say, we didn’t have our first kiss for a few more weeks after that.

16.  Favorite super hero and why: Batman. Literally has the coolest gadgets out of any superhero.

17.  Dream place to travel: Greece. After seeing “Sisterhood of the traveling pants” I have always

 wanted to visit Greece and see the town with the white walls and blue roofs. Looks beautiful!

18.  Any hidden talents: nope. Pretty talent-less. Just found out im pretty boss at hitting a target 

with a spear while riding a galloping horse. It was pretty hidden but I guess it’s a talent.

19. What is your greatest fear: Worms. Cried one-time when my sister put one in my shoe.

20.  What accomplishment are you most proud of: getting into UCDH was pretty big for me. 

I was super happy that I got in.

21.  When you were a kid what did you want to be: a hairdresser. My parents bought me a life-size 

Barbie head and I would do her hair. I also had one of those salon hair dryers that look 

like a semi-circle and you pull it down over your hair.  My mom also let me trim her hair when 

I was only 8, which was cool then but now it seems wicked crazy.

22.  Favorite Holiday: Christmas! I love the family traditions that we have. My family has a 

tradition to drive around and look at all the Christmas lights, make a big pot of hot coco, and all of 

us girls do our hair the same, dress up in our cutest pajamas, and sleep in the same room. 

Then we all wakeup and run downstairs together to wake up our parents for present opening time!

Birthdays, Mexican food & 80's Dancing

Last week was Kamrie and Mallory's birthdays!! Happy Birthday you guys!! I hope you both were able to find time to celebrate and have fun!

Kamrie celebrated last Thursday after school by inviting us all to Salt Lake's Red Iguana restaurant! For those of you who have never been, it is a hole in the wall Mexican place that, according to their website, has won the most awards in Utah.  It was delicious!

After an hour wait, filled with picture taking and sitting under the heaters we were seated inside and the party really began!! The food came in large platefuls and tasted amazing!

Then came the big surprise. The waiter brought over two huge platters of sopapillas with a candle in one for Kamrie! We all sang happy birthday and cheered as Kamrie blew out the candle and made a birthday wish!

Some of the girls came dressed in their best 80's gear and headed off to an 80's dance party after dinner to continue with the fun.

Spotlight: Haley Terry

7. Favorite candy or dessert: ....all of them. Candy: Twix, Dessert: brownies

8. Favorite food: DESSERTS!!! I love sweets! I also really enjoy humus! (Separate from the desserts of course)

10. How many siblings do you have/ where do you fall in place: 1 brother and 2 sisters. I am 2nd.

14. Your hero/ someone who has impacted your life: One of the greatest influences in my life has been one of my best friends/old roommates Kelly Cadogan. She always saw more in me than I could see in myself. She pushed me to leave my comfort zone and reach for higher goals. It is because of her that I obtained the confidence to pursue a career in dental hygiene. I am really grateful for that because it has lead me here. I am where I need to be.

15. An embarrassing story about you: when I was a freshman at BYU my roommate and I thought we were alone by the student athlete building. I don't remember why but we started walking and moaning like zombies. Before we knew it we heard laughing and looked up to see the BYU football coach, Coach Mendenhall, who had turned the corner without us noticing.

16. Favorite super hero and why: DC- Batman! Because he is a ninja and could be/is awesome even without all the gear. He is legit.  Marvel- Ironman! Who doesn't love tony stark. He is hilarious and knows he is awesome. Can make a joke out of everything.

17. Dream place to travel: varies. Italy and England have always been at the top of that list, but most recently my dream is to go backpacking along the coast of Wales.

18. Any hidden talents: I am actually pretty good at almost any Nintendo game

21. When you were a kid what did you want to be: when I was younger I had two life goals. First, I wanted to be an author. Second, I wanted to be a dog trainer.

I had some hamsters as a kid, a turtle, a hamster named Beni for two years during my BYU years and a Yellow Labrador Retriever/Shepard mix named Jewel I got when I was ten. She died a week before ucdh started, two days before I left home. She was 16. I miss her a lot.

29. Favorite age and why: 20, I felt very independent and I was loving my classes at BYU. Also I had the best roommates that year and made some of my best friends! We had a lot of fun times.

I have over 70 different pins that each mean something/represent something to me. I have never been kissed. I love the Phoenix Arizona area.
