14. You’re hero/ someone who has impacted your life: My one and only; Papa Chan! I wouldn’t be where I was today if it weren’t for him. He is the hardest worker I know, came to America with less than $5 in his pocket and he worked hard to make a living for his family and was fortunate to retire before he was 50!
15. An embarrassing story about you: haha I have plenty to go around for years. Here is a good one; I was backing out of a friends drive way and her boyfriends car was parked out on the street and I somehow managed to back into it and totaled his car. He got a new truck out of it and I was grounded for the rest of my life. I still get crap for it today whenever I go home. So yeah I am 2 for 2 for being labeled as a bad driver; a women and Asian.

I am so much happier now than I was 2 or 3 years ago and I don’t regret anything but I am so blessed to have taken those mistakes and turned them into something positive and it turned my life around completely. Staying positive has gotten me over so many obstacles.

28. Favorite quote: “If god shuts a door, stop banging on it. Trust that whatever is behind it is not meant for you.”
29. Favorite age and why: This is a tough one. I would have to say when I was 16. First year having a huge responsibility and being able to drive! Made me feel like such a big girl haha.

Cookie Recipe

Hey everyone! I (Haley T.) have had a lot of requests for the recipe for the cookies SADHA made for everyone a few....weeks...months ago. I can't remember exactly when but we passed around a bowl full of chocolate chip cookies. Here is the recipe we used:

Chocolate Chip Cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees       Bake for 12-15 Minutes
Makes 3 ½ Doz. (I think it makes more, maybe I just make small cookies) :)

Cream Together
1 ½ C. Butter or Margarine
1 ¼ C. Sugar
1 ¼ C. Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Vanilla
2 Eggs

Add mixing in well
4 C. Flour (this is approximate, add last cup slowly so you don't put too much and have dry cookies. dough shouldn't be super crumbly)
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt

Add
1 24 oz Chocolate Chips (4 Cups)

Bake and Eat (or don't bake and just chow down on cookie dough)

(Not an actual picture of cookies made with this recipe but they look yummy and similar to what yours should look like) :)
