Running of course, cooking/baking, being outdoors, volleyball, dancing, hanging out with family/friends!

My church leader...she changed my life and I soon became best friends with her daughter!

One time I was at Costco with friends and family and they were waiting for me, I had to go to the bathroom and I totally hopped into a different car and buckled my seatbelt and started talking and realized it was some random people.

Captain America….only because my missionary(ahhh 22 months)  is obsessed with Captain America so yeah : )

Europe….going after I graduate woohoo!

I always hate this question because I really don’t feel like I have any hidden talents!

I don’t like being alone…so never getting married or having my husband or one of my children die:/

Already said this, but just pushing through my prerequisites through high school and just sticking to it and now I’m here!!!!!

21. When you were a kid what did you want to be

Ooooo….that changed a lot I wanted to be a chef….hairstylist! My big dream was being public relations for a huge makeup or fashion company! Let’s be real I am no Lauren Conrad so not happening!

Christmas! I love all holidays! They are the best!

I love being a kid because everything is so innocent and nobody cares what you look like and everybody is nice to each other! Also, now being a young single adult is a very fun time!

Hmmmm……I love life and I am a Mormon and I live it and LOVE it! I am a sucker for Pinterest things and new recipes. I love girly things! I love doing hair it’s so fun! I just love people and helping others it brings me great joy!

Birthdays, Mexican food & 80's Dancing

Last week was Kamrie and Mallory's birthdays!! Happy Birthday you guys!! I hope you both were able to find time to celebrate and have fun!

Kamrie celebrated last Thursday after school by inviting us all to Salt Lake's Red Iguana restaurant! For those of you who have never been, it is a hole in the wall Mexican place that, according to their website, has won the most awards in Utah.  It was delicious!

After an hour wait, filled with picture taking and sitting under the heaters we were seated inside and the party really began!! The food came in large platefuls and tasted amazing!

Then came the big surprise. The waiter brought over two huge platters of sopapillas with a candle in one for Kamrie! We all sang happy birthday and cheered as Kamrie blew out the candle and made a birthday wish!

Some of the girls came dressed in their best 80's gear and headed off to an 80's dance party after dinner to continue with the fun.

Spotlight: Haley Terry

2. Nick Names: Hayz, Hay (my parents call me that), Hale Yeah (my dj name if I was to become one)

4. Hometown: All over. Air Force Brat (New Mexico, Mississippi, Panama, California, Arizona, Utah, Texas)

5. Where you took your pre-requisites: BYU Provo. go cougars!!!!

6. Favorite Color: Blue

7. Favorite candy or dessert: ....all of them. Candy: Twix, Dessert: brownies

8. Favorite food: DESSERTS!!! I love sweets! I also really enjoy humus! (Separate from the desserts of course)

9. Married/single: single

10. How many siblings do you have/ where do you fall in place: 1 brother and 2 sisters. I am 2nd.

11. Favorite Hobbies: reading, taking pictures, writing, biking, rock climbing, hiking, rollerblading, bowling, mario kart, just dance, watching tv (once upon a time, Sherlock, the Voice, criminal minds, walking dead, too cute puppies, Phineas and ferb), swimming, ice skating

14. Your hero/ someone who has impacted your life: One of the greatest influences in my life has been one of my best friends/old roommates Kelly Cadogan. She always saw more in me than I could see in myself. She pushed me to leave my comfort zone and reach for higher goals. It is because of her that I obtained the confidence to pursue a career in dental hygiene. I am really grateful for that because it has lead me here. I am where I need to be.

15. An embarrassing story about you: when I was a freshman at BYU my roommate and I thought we were alone by the student athlete building. I don't remember why but we started walking and moaning like zombies. Before we knew it we heard laughing and looked up to see the BYU football coach, Coach Mendenhall, who had turned the corner without us noticing.

16. Favorite super hero and why: DC- Batman! Because he is a ninja and could be/is awesome even without all the gear. He is legit.  Marvel- Ironman! Who doesn't love tony stark. He is hilarious and knows he is awesome. Can make a joke out of everything.

17. Dream place to travel: varies. Italy and England have always been at the top of that list, but most recently my dream is to go backpacking along the coast of Wales.

18. Any hidden talents: I am actually pretty good at almost any Nintendo game

19. What is your greatest fear: being alone/friendless

20. What accomplishment are you most proud of: getting into BYU and UCDH.

21. When you were a kid what did you want to be: when I was younger I had two life goals. First, I wanted to be an author. Second, I wanted to be a dog trainer.

22. Favorite Holiday: Christmas!! I get to see my whole family! :) and I love Christmas music!! (I wait until thanksgiving is over and gone though)

27. Do you have any pets: not anymore. I had some hamsters as a kid, a turtle, a hamster named Beni for two years during my BYU years and a Yellow Labrador Retriever/Shepard mix named Jewel I got when I was ten. She died a week before ucdh started, two days before I left home. She was 16. I miss her a lot.

29. Favorite age and why: 20, I felt very independent and I was loving my classes at BYU. Also I had the best roommates that year and made some of my best friends! We had a lot of fun times.

30. Any other interesting things that weren’t asked that we should know: I collect pins. I get a pin whenever I move somewhere new, go on vacation, or want to remember an event. I have over 70 different pins that each mean something/represent something to me. I have never been kissed. I love the Phoenix Arizona area.

We came, We RAN, we conquered! (Color Me Rad)

Sleep in this Saturday? Not these girls. They got up bright and early to participate in this year’s Color Me Rad 5K hosted at UVU. After some pre-race pictures in their white T shirts they were ready to get them dirty. Savannah and Keala also proudly sported their snazzy tutus, which I hope you all checked out. They have skills.

Upon reaching the starting line the girls got pumped up and ready with a dance party near the front of the stage where UVU’s green man band played live.  At last it was Go Time. At the sound of the horn they were off, passing me (Haley Terry) in a blur!

In what seemed like no time, Savannah was the first girl to pass me from my position at the last checkpoint before the finish. She gave me a smile as she raced by kicking up a cloud of color.  Not too long after, Lyndsey rushed by followed by everyone else.  There was laughter and smiles all around on everyone’s now pink, blue, green, yellow and orange faces!

At the end of this RAD-iculous race our friends celebrated by throwing handfuls of chalk colors and leaping for joy in front of the finish line. CONGRATS to everyone who participated! You all looked awesome!

  30. Any other interesting things that weren't asked that we should know: I am mildly lactose intolerant. I have 23 nieces and nephews. I was a dental assistant for my dad, cousin and brother at their office for 4 years before school. I love doing hair and make-up, I basically only ate macaroni and cheese as a child and I love going abalone diving in Fort Bragg. I am obsessed with the beach and have heliophilia!
